Health Center

Goodwin House Alexandria, a not-for-profit senior living campus, offers short-term rehab and long-term nursing care in a comfortable, person-centered environment.

Small household living with thoughtful, personalized care

At Goodwin House Alexandria, our Health Care Center is built on a simple but powerful idea: care should feel like home. Designed in the “small house” model, our center offers a warm and welcoming setting for older adults who need more support. Each household includes private rooms, open kitchens, and shared living spaces that foster connection and comfort.

We offer eight households, each home to just ten residents. Couples can be accommodated in adjoining rooms. Opened in 2017, our Small House Health Care Center reflects our commitment to innovation, architecture and dignity in care.

RECOGNIZED FOR QUALITY CARE

Goodwin House Alexandria has earned a 5-Star rating from Medicare for nursing care. This distinction reflects our strong performance in health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
